Protein And Fibre Control Hunger
The foods that make up a healthy diet — fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains and low fat dairy products — do have a lot fewer calories per bite than foods that are full of fat and sugar. They’re also more satisfying; proteins keep hunger at bay, fibre and water help to fill us up.
When it comes to eating healthy foods, some people seem to subscribe to the notion that ‘if some is good, more is better’. But calories still count with healthy foods.
